The distant look in their eyes

Tell of thinning veils

And opening portals

The air thickens

As the hauntingly familiar silence

Surrounds an unsuspecting body

Vibrations become irregular

While a heart skips a beat

Eyes dilate, breathing quickens

Shadows Dance

A chill in the air

A Stillness, A loneliness

Dimensions being crossed

Boundaries violated

Fear is not an option

Reaching for the safety

Of a soul mates arms

Fire, Water and Earth

Stand as one

Strong but incomplete

Or is it?

As an illusive breeze circles

With no entry or exit
