The pressure of the world lies heavy

Hands reaching through the streams of unconsciousness caressing my soul .Gently guiding me into the arms that once were so familiar. My body pulsates with anticipation of a love that has brought me to the highest elevation of ecstasy to the lowest depths of despair. Solitude Of Madness

                             Fading deeper into the darkness, deeper into the silence
                             Feeding off the energy of hopes and dreams
                             Swallowing them one by one
                             Left standing in the solitude of ones own madness
                            There is no escaping the call
                            Cold lifeless hands caressing the body
                            Drawn to the lonely cries in the night
                            Everywhere is a solemn reminder ,wandering aimlessly
                            Lost looking for what?
                           Walking among us.... seeing their hurriedly steps pass by
                           As life is being drained from the body
                           Eyes a glaze with visions of a world unknown to most
                           But for just a moment eyes meet and
                           The reality of a meeting pierce the soul
                          A question and an answer
                           ....words on a screen.
                         Maybe a soul without substance?
                        Confirms what was already known but didn't want to believe.
